You should know I’m 66 and in 2006 I founded an Independentist Galician Party, the UDNG, which lasted, without any activity until 2018, more or less, I have all the docs somewhere,
I’m not as much concerned by climatic change, as by the state of democracy here, in Spain, and in our continent. Democracy is not something we have already arrived to, and can therefore enjoy. Democracy, as other developments, railroads, vaccines, the telegraph has its timing, its starting point, and we haven’t yet reached at it. Our politicians, the mainstream conception of things is deluded into thinking we have, but here, in Spain, the electoral processes, regulated by a law that enforces the destruction of ballots, and makes any audit of any results impossible, are only a cover, and maybe the situation may be extended to other states of the 27 that compound the EU. I don’t know it for certain. I know for certain that is what’s happening now under Felipe VI.
I have some weird ideas about economy too. Most of the business I see around in this town, Santiago de Compostela, it’s impossible they can survive just on their business revenues. I don’t know what happens in other towns. Have you had a look? There are people suggesting a few of them may subsist, since their foundation, budgeted by government’s money, raised, cherished, by the state. If this were so, our politicians would be lying, wickedly lying, when they talk about our “free market economy”. Freedom in economy, whatever.
Can’t remember now how I came on European Greens, trying to contact euro deputy Ska Keller, many years ago, I think. Anyway, I’d like someone to asses my views. Until now only psychiatrists have and wicked, biased, people. And, if needed, to take action about this.
You sent me a list of Spanish parties affiliated to the European Green. Who should I contact in to exchange ideas about democracy and economy in the world, and in the Kingdom of Spain? If I decided to join an European green organization as an individual, which party should I address my request? If I wished to, could I start a branch of your org. in my region? In your website there’s info about that Congress in Dublin starting in December 4th, didn’t look calmly for the issues you will deal in it, it’s too late to include those themes in it, I guess; but we are now in the third Millenium, (1 – 1000 (I) // 1000 – 2000 (II) // 2000 – 2025 (III)), children 5 years old will be 80 by 2100. There’s no time for joking. And super population, lack of any true but alegued democracy, an state protected, and state trumpeted, capitalist economic system, corrupted media, unsupervised political parties, and their fuzzy urge everybody to look for and enforce truth, even if unbearable.
I wrote a crazy e-mail to a Naomi Klein related address. Said there that might be she was wrong about climatic change; what would kill us all in the end are satanic fascists. Had one of those funny answers. She was busy this year for conferences, but I could try and ask for her fees.
